MacKenzie was AMAZING! I called her at the last minute and she was able to accommodate me. It was important for me to find someone who could photograph dark skin. Not every photographer uses the right lighting or exposure for those of use who have melanin or darker skin.
Communication/ Booking:
She responded promptly. Her contract is straight forward. She answered all of my questions quickly and wasn’t bothered when I had additional questions.
Actual Shoot:
She has various backgrounds in her studio for professional headshots and can also do outdoors. I opted for indoors. She will put on your favorite playlist! She is a great coach and will help you find your BEST angles. (Ladies, you KNOW this is important.) In addition, if there’s a hair out of place, she will fix it. Also, she is very funny and makes the shoot much bearable for those of us who are not models.

The photos turned out so great! I was VERY pleased! She took about 100 and I had trouble choosing. In the past, I have only liked maybe one or two photos. I liked almost every photo that she took! In addition, I’ve gained weight since my last headshot. She leveraged my best angles so that you do not see that double chin or chubby face.
